It's not guesswork. Our approach is built on what decades of research shows really works when you learn a language. Six simple ideas shape every lesson.
You learn fastest when the material is just a little above where you are now — challenging, but never overwhelming. That's why your teacher builds every lesson around you, instead of pushing everyone through the same fixed course.
The best way to remember something is to recall it, then revisit it again later. We bring earlier words and phrases back throughout the course so they stick for good — not just until next week.
You don't learn a language by only studying it — you learn it by using it. You'll be speaking and writing from the very first lesson, building real confidence, not just filling in worksheets.
Good feedback is one of the biggest things that speeds up learning. Your teacher gently corrects you, helps you fix it yourself, and makes sure you can do it next time — so mistakes become progress.
We mix conversation with images, audio and real video, because seeing and hearing a language — not just reading it — helps it stick in your memory far better.
Our goal is for you to keep improving between lessons and long after your course ends. With clear goals and small projects, you build the confidence to use the language out in the real world.

Valentina came to us straight out of high school and started German from zero. Today she's an electrical engineer at BMW in Germany — and below, in her own words, is how the BE Method got her there.

I started with Berndt Education right at the very beginning of my learning journey — and that was the most helpful part.

I'd spent about two months at another German academy in my home country, but I decided to switch — and that's how I started with Berndt Education, right at the very beginning of my journey. That turned out to be the most helpful part.
My biggest challenge before was that my previous classes had too much Spanish. Spanish is my mother tongue, and the lessons were a mix of Spanish and German with a lot of Spanish — I didn't find that helpful. With Berndt Education, the classes were only in German. At the start that's a bit of a shock and harder to follow, but you improve really quickly, because you start thinking only in German for the whole lesson. You don't have a choice — you either try, or you won't understand — and that's exactly what made the difference.
What I loved was that my teacher always found a way to explain things clearly and simply while still speaking German. So you'd actually notice how fast you were progressing, and that was incredibly motivating."
"Bei Berndt Education fühlte ich mich immer wohl — ich konnte so viele Fragen stellen, wie ich wollte, und bekam immer eine klare Erklärung. Das hat die ganze Erfahrung sehr positiv gemacht."
"At Berndt Education I always felt comfortable — I could ask as many questions as I wanted, and always got a clear explanation. It made the whole experience really positive."
Every promise we make about how we teach, Valentina lived. Here's the method in her own words.
"The classes were only in German. You either try, or you won't understand — and that's exactly what made the difference."
"As soon as you learned something, you'd apply it in exercises — it made it much easier and faster to understand."
"My teacher always explained things clearly and simply, while still speaking German — so you'd notice how fast you were progressing."
"After about three or four months, it just clicked. I was writing about my day in German, and it was flowing."
